Hwy 539 follows an interesting path.  Starting at Hwy 17 in Warren, Hwy 539 heads north, then turns east in the direction of River Valley and its junction with Hwy 539A.  From there, Hwy 539 heads southeasterly toward its ultimate destination of Hwy 64 in Field.  For the purposes of this web site, Hwy 539 is considered to have a Western Terminus and an Eastern Terminus.

The Western Terminus of Hwy 539 is at Hwy 17 in Warren.

Featured in this picture is the Hwy 539 Ends assembly located at the back of the Hwy 17 intersection.  Continuing to the south of here is locally-maintained Nipissing Road.

This shield assembly is located on Hwy 17 West in advance of the intersection marking the start of Hwy 539, and is complete with a Trans-Canada Highway shield.

Eastern Terminus:

The Eastern Terminus of Hwy 539 is at Hwy 64 in Field.
