Hwy 404 is a commuter freeway that leads northerly from Hwy 401 in Toronto to Green Lane in Newmarket.

This picture shows the old exit signage for Hwy 404's southern terminus at Hwy 401 and the Don Valley Parkway. The approach to this interchange has since been reconfigured to improve the capacity of the interchange.

These photos show the approach from the northbound Don Valley Parkway to Highway 404 in Toronto. The approaching signs were installed fairly recently and are of a rather odd design. The through lanes of the Don Valley Parkway default to the northbound 404.

These pictures show a drivers perspective approaching the Green Lane exit from Highway 404. The first picture shows the white sign that denotes the northern terminus of the highway. The second picture shows the signage instructing all lanes to divert onto the Green Lane exit. Highway 404 then meets Green Lane at a signalized intersection.
