Hwy 10 is a long highway that ran from Port Credit in Mississauga northwesterly to Hwy 6/21/26 in Owen Sound on the shores of Georgian Bay.  In 1998, the highway was shortened somewhat as the urban portions of Hwy 10 lying within Mississauga and Brampton were downloaded to local jurisdiction.  Highway 410 will be extended northerly during the next few years to meet, and terminate, at Highway 10 at the Brampton/Caledon Boundary.
